Join the growing number of professionals who are completing the Certified Coach Training Program to enhance their leadership or consulting role!

The EXPEDITION Certified Coach Training Program is approved by the International Coach Federation (ICF) and aligned with the ICF Core Competencies.

The program certifies participants as Certified Coaches as per the International Coach Federation’s (ICF) coach training standards. Upon graduation, participants receive the designation Expedition Coaching Certified Coach (ECCC) and will be eligible to apply for ICF accreditation upon completion of their client coaching hours.

This course includes 65 Approved Coach Specific Training Hours (ACSTH) including:

  • Five (5) days of classroom training
  • Team and individual assignments
  • 10 hours of Mentor Coaching with a Professional Certified Coach (PCC)

Instructor Profile

ShanaShana Ring, MA, PPC, CPHR

President of Destination Leadership and founder of EXPEDITION Coaching - a leadership program focused on enhancing coaching, communication and change skills of leaders at all levels in today's workplace. Shauna specializes in the area of developing coaching cultures, leadership and team development, succession planning and change. She has been working with individuals, teams and organizations in her own business since 2007. Prior to this she spent over 13 years at SaskPower successfully designing and leading leadership development initiatives.

Shauna completed a Master's of Arts Degree in Leadership and the Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University. She is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and offers Certified Coach training, Certified Facilitator training and Coaching Skills training. She has her Bachelor of Arts Degree from University of Regina and is a Certified Professional in Human Resources (CPHR).

Cancellation

University of Saskatchewan's liability is limited to reimbursement of paid tuition fees.

Cancellations received at least ten (10) business days in advance of the course commencement date will receive a full refund. Cancellations received less than ten (10) business days prior to the course commencement date will be subject to a $500 administration fee. Cancellations received less than three (3) business days prior to the course commencement date will be subject to full course tuition cost.

Non-attendance will incur full course tuition cost.

Program Transfers

One course transfer will be permitted without penalty if the cancellation request is received within fifteen (15) business days prior to the course start date. Alternate program transfers may be approved dependent on course availability. Transfer requests must be scheduled within six (6) months of the initial purchase. Applicants will be responsible for any price difference in program fees at the time of the request. Each subsequent transfer request will be subject to $300 administration fee.
