Youth Business Fair August 16 and 23
You are invited to attend the Edwards Entrepreneurship Summer Youth Camp Business Fair! For those who may not be familiar, the Edwards School of Business hosts a weeklong Entrepreneurship Youth Summer Camp for kids aged 9 to 14. During this week, campers learn various aspects of business and apply their newly acquired skills by running micro-businesses. The camp culminates in a Business Fair where they showcase and sell their products and services.
This year marks the third year of the camp, which has grown significantly. We will have 80 young entrepreneurs participating in the two Business Fairs!
The fairs will be held on Friday, August 16 and 23 and are cash only. Please remember to bring cash if you plan to attend.
Both events will take place in the green space between the Arts and Thorvaldson buildings. In the event of inclement weather or a high air quality index, the fair will be relocated to the North Concourse in the Place Riel building at 1 Campus Dr, Saskatoon, SK.
Come by and support our young entrepreneurs by shopping at the micro-businesses. They will be offering a variety of snacks, games, crafts, services, and much more as the grand finale to their camp experience.

About
The Edwards School of Business offered the first ever Edwards Entrepreneurship Youth Camp in July of 2022. This innovative summer camp allows youth aged 9 to 14 to learn the functional areas of business and then apply their newly developed skills by actually running a micro-business and showcasing it on the last day of camp.
Participants will not only be able to develop a creative business of their own, but they will also get to interact with Saskatchewan’s entrepreneurship community. Experiential learning and business curriculum will be balanced with physical activity and games for an experience that is not only educational but fun!
Here is a recap of the 2023 camp and some of the media attention generated in previous years from CTV Saskatoon at the businesses and the innovative entrepreneurs behind the ideas.
