Program Overview
People with Executive Presence inspire confidence! They do this by truly understanding themselves and others. This confidence is then translated into vision, action, and results. And this translation happens through effective communication, connection, and exploration.
During this program, you will develop techniques and strategies that will allow you to maximize your Executive Presence. We will engage in practical and interactive discussions and activities that will clarify and strengthen your communications in order to inspire confidence and ensure results.
Understanding and Engaging Myself (How I See Myself) By knowing our unique leader brand/identity, purpose and preferences (Me Inc.), we operate in the public realm – building trust through honest, constantly evolving actions and communications. You will explore and define your own unique Leader Brand/Identity, Purpose, and Preference.s |

Knowing the Impression I Make (How You see Me) By considering the impact of Me Inc. on Impression Management and Gravitas, I avoid the Ivory Tower – the state of privileged seclusion or separation from the facts and practicalities of the real world. This consideration will start to bridge the gap between what is vs. what could be. You will chart and set goals on the components of Impression Management and Gravitas. |

Understanding and Engaging Others (How I See You) By using our Emotional Intelligence, we empathically respond to others with Authentic Inclusivity, knowing that all outcomes will be richer because of it. You will learn and discern the impact of whether or not you demonstrate Emotional Intelligence and Authentic Inclusivity. |

Translates into Motivation and Results (How it is Translated) By understanding self, others and the effects of impression management I can inspire confidence and positively impact myself, a team and the overall organization. You will strategize how it all comes together to create motivation. |

Practicing Executive Communication
At the heart of Executive Presence, is an Executive Communicator. Someone who consistently practices effective communication in all areas of their life. This is not an innate, inborn characteristic of only certain people. This is a learned and developed practice – a conscious choice to be self-aware, develop new skills, replace bad habits, practice and course-correct throughout our entire lives.
San Francisco/New York based Decker Communications regularly produces a Top 10 List, as well as a Best & Worst Communicators list on their blog. In addition, Rachelle Brockman has polled thousands of participants in her workshops over the past 20 years asking the question, what communication skills do you especially like and dislike in a leader? Crack the Code on Executive Presence
Experts agree that executive presence is a combination of personal traits and outward behaviors that create an image of leadership competence and trustworthiness. Sylvia Ann Hewlett, the founder, and CEO of the Center for Talent Innovation and author of Executive Presence, defines executive presence as how one acts (gravitas), speaks (communication), and looks (appearance). Executive coach Scott Eblin, author of The Next Level: What Insiders Know about Executive Success, organizes leadership presence (as he calls it) into three categories: behaviors that impact a leader’s immediate self, team, and the overall organization.
No matter how you (or your organization) define executive presence, keep in mind that it’s a group of traits and behaviors that starts with you and emanates outward to create a perception of your ability to lead under any circumstance.

Cancellation
University of Saskatchewan's liability is limited to reimbursement of paid tuition fees.
Cancellations received at least ten (10) business days in advance of the program commencement date will receive a full refund. Cancellations received less than ten (10) business days prior to the program commencement date will be subject to a $500 administration fee. Cancellations received less than three (3) business days prior to the program commencement date will be subject to full program tuition cost.
Non-attendance will incur full program tuition cost.

Program Transfers
Alternate program transfers may be approved dependent on program availability. Transfer requests must be scheduled within six (6) months of the initial purchase.
Applicants will be responsible for any price difference in program fees at the time of the request. Each subsequent transfer request will be subject to $300 administration fee.
