Celebrating our Spring 2017 graduates
358 graduates from four different programs including the Bachelor of Commerce, Aboriginal Business Administration Certificate, Business Administration Certificate and the Master of Business Administration were celebrated at spring convocation earlier this month.
Alexandria Parzen and Travis Ward were recognized as the most distinguished graduates from Edwards School of Business.
Alexandria received her B.Comm. in Human Resources with Great Distinction. She earned the prestigious Goodspeed Award as the top student in the B.Comm. program, recording a 91.58% cumulative grade point average over her three and a half years of study at the U of S. While in the B.Comm. program Alexandria received a range of academic awards and volunteered as a note taker with U of S Disability Services for Students and in the community with several different organizations. | |
Travis received the Paul S. Jaspar Chartered Accountant Award, which is presented to the most distinguished graduate from the Business Administration Certificate Program. Travis currently works at the Ministry of Economy and is an avid outdoor enthusiast with hobbies related to running, bicycle racing, skiing and playing lacrosse. |
