What can you learn as a student of the Co-operative Education Program?

Edwards Co-op Program graduates consistently have a higher employment rate upon graduation.

Brittney Holweck

As an Edwards School of Business student, you have the opportunity to participate in the Co-operative Education Program. The co-op program not only allows you to grow your professional network while improving your resume and completing your degree but exposes you to a unique experiential learning opportunity.

Our Co-op Program graduates consistently have a higher employment rate upon graduation. Participating in the program gives you an edge, as many companies across Canada use co-op or internship programs as their primary method of post-secondary recruitment. Students get hired by private companies, government entities and non-profit organizations in various sectors. Edwards Co-operative Education Program is also generously supported by Federated Co-operatives Limited.

Edwards co-op students return from their placements with:

• A clearer idea of their career options;
• Improved confidence in their capabilities that comes with 8 months of professional experience;
• A stronger professional network and reputation leading to post-graduation employment opportunities; and
• An enhanced understanding of their B.Comm. course work

But don’t take our word for it, read what the 2021 Co-op students have learned from their placements:
