2015 Leadership Conference
Edwards School of Business was pleased to host the 2015 Leadership Conference on Wednesday, March 18th.

The 2015 Leadership Conference was the seventh offering since its inception in 2002, and the first offering hosted by Edwards School of Business. The conference featured many accomplished leaders who spoke to the theme of Sustainable Leadership – From Cliché to Crucial.
The 2015 Leadership Conference featured Keynote Speakers:
- Naheed Nenshi, Mayor of the City of Calgary, recently recognized as 2014 World’s Best Mayor. Mayor Nenshi spoke about crisis management and long term planning through his experience with the 2014 Calgary flooding.
- Emechete Onuoha, Chief Innovation Officer of Xerox Services, spoke about change agility as a critical success factor enabling innovation.
- Jim Hopson, former CEO and President of the Saskatchewan Roughriders, spoke about the three P’s of leadership – People, Passion, and Perseverance.
New to the Leadership Conference was Edwards’ Annual Spring Forward! Grandey Leadership Luncheon. Edwards School of Business proudly announced Dallas Howe, CEO of DSTC Ltd, as our third annual Grandey Leadership Honouree. Dallas Howe, an entrepreneur, who pioneered the use of technology to improve healthcare throughout North America, reminded those in attendance to not let their position dictate their willingness to lead.
The conference also featured a President’s Panel moderated by Edwards School of Business’ Dean Daphne Taras. Panelists included Stewart Hanlon (President & CEO of Gibson Energy), Lillas Hatala (Executive Director, Integrative Leadership International Ltd) and Dallas Howe (CEO of DSTC Ltd).
