Winter Learning Community sign-up will open September 1st, 2024 at noon (CST) for all students admitted for T2
New first-year students interested in a Learning Community (LC) are required to sign up for a Learning Community in Term 1. We have two general communities for any incoming Edwards School of Business students. We are also offering a learning community specifically for incoming self-declared Indigenous students.

Planning to take more than 3 classes in each term?
In addition to these learning community schedules you also have the opportunity to register in additional classes if you are planning to take a full 5 courses in each term.
Suggested courses in first year are COMM 211, COMM 229, COMM 204, COMM 121, COMM 100 and two non-COMM electives. Class offerings for additional courses can be found in the Class Search.
Steps for LC Sign Up:
1) Choose a schedule for Term 1 that you would like to sign up for. Please note that there are limited seats and it is first come first serve.
2) Sign up starting May 1st at Noon (CST) using the link below.
3) IMPORTANT- Students registering for the Indigenous Learning Community in Term 1 have the option to extend their LC for the full year. Extending the Learning Community requires registration in BOTH LC-SB03A and LC-SB13A
4) Check your PAWS email for a confirmation letter.
5) Check your PAWS email late in May for more details on LC registration from your Learning Community team.
6) Register in your LC block of classes on June 6th and then register in any additional classes you are planning to take.
