Prince Albert Campus

The Prince Albert Campus provides opportunities for students in different programs and classes to connect with each other and to access student supports.

You can apply directly to the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm.) and Certificate in Business (CBUS) programs and begin your studies at the Prince Albert Campus by taking a mix of online, hybrid and in-person courses.

Programs

  • Bachelor of Commerce

    The Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm.) degree is a four-year direct-entry program. The first two years are dedicated to providing you with general business knowledge. You will take an introductory course in each of the major specializations (accounting, finance, human resources, management, marketing and supply chain management) before selecting your major in the middle of year two.

    Students can apply directly to the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm.) program and begin their studies at the Prince Albert Campus. Students can complete a full-year of courses by taking online Commerce classes and select Arts & Science electives. 

    As of Fall 2025, classes offered online (Term 1 and/or Term 2) include:

    • COMM 101.3 Introduction to Business
    • COMM 104.3 Foundations of Business Statistics
    • COMM 105.3 Introduction to Organizational Behaviour
    • COMM 204.3 Introduction to Marketing
    • COMM 207.3 Statistics for Business Decisions
    • COMM 211.3 Human Resource Management
    • COMM 229.3 Personal Financial Management
    • COMM 304.3 Introduction to Business Law
    • COMM 306.3 Ethics and Strategic Decision Making

     

    As of Winter 2025, classes offered in a hybrid format include:

    • COMM 204.3 Introduction to Marketing

     

    Visit the Course & Program Catalogue to view requirements for all Edwards programs, including a list of possible Arts & Science courses that may be available at the Prince Albert Campus. 

    Students are encouraged to speak with an Academic Advisor regarding course registration. 

  • Certificate in Business

    The Certificate in Business is an eight-course program that introduces students to the fundamentals of business management and will provide the skills needed to contribute to an organization's success. Students who complete the Certificate in Business will: understand basic business principles; be effective contributors to team performance; and be effective decision makers and problem solvers.

    Students can apply directly to the Certificate in Business (CBUS) program and begin their studies at the Prince Albert Campus. Students can complete the full certificate at the Prince Albert Campus. 

    As of Fall 2025, classes offered online (Term 1 and/or Term 2) include:

      • COMM 204.3 Introduction to Marketing

    • Elective CBUS Courses (students must take three)
      • COMM 100.3 Business Communication

      • COMM 229.3 Personal Financial Management
      • COMM 304.3 Introduction to Business Law
      • COMM 325.3 Corporate Reporting and Decision-Making for Non-Accountants**
      • COMM 326.3 Taxation and Business Decisions**

    * Note: Students interested in transferring to the Bachelor of Commerce program should complete COMM 201.3 Introduction to Financial Accounting; COMM 225.3 Introduction to Accounting and Financial Literacy for Entrepreneurs cannot be used for credit in the B.Comm. program.

    ** Note: COMM 325.3 and 326.3 will be offered in alternating years. These courses can be used toward B.Comm. program requirements in any major exept Accounting

Prince Albert Campus

Prince Albert Campus Hours

The Student Commons Room #144 will be open to students Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 10:00 pm, Fridays from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Campus is closed Sundays.
